CUSTOM NOTIFICATIONS

Here, you’ll find a list of all the custom notifications you will find on our server. We rely on these notifications to keep people informed without overloading everyone with notifications you don’t want. Using custom notifications allows you to sign up for the information that you want to know about. Some of these notifications will also open up other channels for you to talk to other users in. Below you can find a list of all these possible notifications.

Pokemon Notifications - In order to be notified when someone tags one of these specific pokemon, head over to the #custom-notifications channel and type in the command: ?pokmonname

For Example: If you're still hunting for a ditto you'd type ?ditto. If you were already signed up for the role the bot will remove you from the command list and you'll no longer receive notifications. This is a great way to manage pings. Below is a list of all of the Pokemon available at this time. This list will change based on what Pokemon will be most advantageous in the game and the raid system.

Group/Club Notifications - We also have custom notifications set up to create different clubs, groups or locations. Head on over to the #custom-notifications page and use one of the commands below in order to join a group listed below.

Raid Tiers

Command to join: ?Tier1, ?Tier2, ?Tier3, ?Tier4, or ?Tier5

How to ping the group: @Tier1, @Tier2, @Tier3, @Tier4, or @Tier5

Why would I join? - Because you love to raid! If you want to be able to share raids that are coming or if you're interested in partaking in any raid roulettes you'll get a notification when they happen.

High IV

Command to join: ?highiv

How to ping the group: @HighIV

Why would I join? - Do you want to the be the very best like no one ever was? You can't do that with a 24% perfect IV Pokemon. You need all the best! Join the Perfect IV Club to find out when someone finds a perfect iv (or very high iv) Pokemon that you could catch too!

Early Bird

Command to join: ?earlybird

How to ping the group: @EarlyBird

Why would I join? - We have pings set up for legendaries, but not everyone wants a ping for a legendary raid at 7 AM. If you do... join early bird. This way we can manage pings by time frame. Only interested in evening raids after work? Make sure you sign up fro the specific raid boss from the list above.

Lunch Crew

Command to join: ?lunch

How to ping the group: @LunchCrew

Why would I join? - Do you work in the Middletown, Cromwell or Portland area and have some time around lunch to get out and raid? We regularly have lunch time raids but don't necessarily ping raid bosses in the middle of the day. Join Lunch Crew to make sure you're getting all of the notifications.

Wesleyan

Command to join: ?wesleyan

How to ping the group: @Wesleyan

Why would I join? - Work at Wesleyan or a Wesleyan student? This command works similar to Lunch Crew and Early Bird but instead of being time based, it's location based.

Pokemon Sun and Moon

Command to join: ?sun or ?moon

How to ping the group: @Sun and @Moon

Why would I join? - Some people have devices that aren't cell phones that allow them to play main series Pokemon Games. If that's you; you may enjoy joining the Pokemon Sun and Moon channels. This command opens up a new channel for you News, Trading, Friend Codes, and more!

Sports

Command to join: ?sports

How to ping the group: @Sports

Why would I join? - Do you play sports ball? Kick around the round puck? Enjoy watching the Sports News Network? The Sports channel may be your friend. Joining this channel will allow you to talk about all of the sports ball you could talk about without clogging up the general chat.

Go News

Command to join: ?Gonews

How to ping the group: @GoNews

Why would I join? - Want to know when something exciting is happening in Pokemon Go? Sometimes instead of pinging @everyone, we'll ping @GoNews so people who want to know the news are informed.

EX Eligible Gyms

Command to join: ?Adath, ?Jensen, or ?Shelter

How to ping the group: @AdathEX, @JensenEX or @ShelterEX

Why would I join? - We have a few EX eligible raids in the Middletown area. Congregation Adath Israel on the South Green, Jensen Park in Cromwell and the Cromwell Shelter at 1 River Road. When we raid these gyms we try to make sure to tag the EX roles. If you haven't gotten an EX pass yet, make sure you sign up for the roles and pay attention to the server.
